Brag Shoots & Lookin Good

After the house parties i quickly ran over to oxford street and shot the 3 venues i needed to do for The Brag... Bright'N'Up Bar, Middle Bar & Ruby Rabbits. After knocking those out of the way i was off to Lookin' Good @ Candy's Apartment for their 3rd Birthday celebration. As always my boys Sam Serene & Jay Smalls had the back room pumping, but this month they had a special guest DJ Trinity (Who runs the Loose Kaboose nights). Also someone, cannot remember who, took one of the best shots of me i've ever seen (second from last). Awesome night, everyone and everything was just Lookin' Good. Oh and Zhenya, thanks for letting me occupy floorspace for that brief period.

House Parties are always fun

Went to Penny's housewarming last saturday arvo, and it was well worth it great food, great people, jelly shots & jelly wrestling ;) No joke i have pictures (if you happen to be a softcore porn company interested in buying the pictures just contact me via email). Anyway, after spending most of my evening there i was taken up to another house party in Kings Cross by my gorgeous friend Aliya. This one was up in a decent sized apartment above the streets of the cross. I was only able to stay for a little while as i still had a few shoots to do for Brag.

Strange Karma Private Gig & Fashion Show/Nightclub

The boys are heading off to the USA with a chance to go big. But before leaving they decided to have a private gig for the fans. They rocked up the little studio we were in. Unfortunately i had to leave early to go to a job in the city, i would've liked to hang the rest of the night with everyone. Oh well, Best of luck in America boys!!!
So after that i made my way into the city for Fowl Play, wasn't early enough to get any good shots of the actual catwalk (swimsuit models ;) But i did get some funky party shots... and yes that last one is a person in a pink elephant suit, and no it had nothing to do with the night.

Art Gallery & Charity Nightclub

Last thursday i went up to Gaffa, an art gallery on Crown St in Surry Hills. I was shooting for 2threads, we had been invited by one of the exhibitors (Ravi with his 'Love Letters Written For Free' exhibit). There where a few good exhibits in there and i drank my share of wine.
After that i went up to Lady Lux in Kings Cross for a chraity event, "Musicians Making A Difference". Where we had a group of local sydney djs and promoters getting together for a good cause, and some good music of course.

Fancy Dress Parties Are Fun

Saturday night i had been asked if i could videotape a party... So i did. Unfortunately i wasn't aware it was fancy dress party so i didn't get to dress up. It was even Disney themed. A few of my friends asked what i would've gone as... I said 'Sebastien, from little mermaid'... Which got a few laughs... But as i told one of the girls, 'You know you'd want my crabmeat'. ;) The party was heaps of fun so during the 30mins the videocamera was charging i whipped out my baby and snapped a few shots.

After the party i had to head up to Kings cross for my club shoots. This time i did Starfuckers @ Club77, Beware the Cat @ YU, MetltBar & Moulin Rouge.

Australia Day & MTV Show Launch

Here in Sydney, Australia Day is always a great day for parties. i spent most of the day asleep, but got up in the arvo to go to the launch for MTV's new shoe 'The Lair'. They had bands Jet & Kasabian playing live, plus a special appearance from My Chemical Romance. They actually closed off a laneway in the city and set up some stages in there. Was kind of fun.

After that, i caught up with Romana (an Austrian couchsurfer who was staying the night at my place) and we went to my friend Katherine's for a BBQ/pool party. Wound up with a group of us all crammed in the Spa drinking the night away.
