Beau Monde - Hot Chick's Rock

Dragged my ass out to Candy's Apartment last night to go see the awesome all girl rock group Beau Monde... I mean those chick's kicked arse up there. And i'm not just saying that cause i have a crush on the lead singer (the main reason i went), their myspace page just doesn't do them justice... You have to hear these guy's rock out live i mean they were great. I intend to go see more of them as they have scored a few more bookings around Sydney. Good luck girls and keep up the good work, oh and Nancy if you happen to read this... Go out with me!?! :) (Worth a try)
Anyway, when i got there things were running a little late, and the first band was starting. Didn't really feel like sitting around for another band but it turned out they were pretty good. The Chequered Leopards:

Then the crowd went crazy when Nancy vice and the Beau Monde girls stepped out and started to rock things up...

Door(step)mouse

Walked out my front door to see my cat giving me a sly look, when i noticed she had cornered this poor little mousey. When i say little, i mean 'Miniscule'. I took a photo of it next to my Yellow Page's, so at least anyone living in sydney can have an idea of the size of the tiny dude.

So i chased away my Cat and caught the mouse in a box and gave it some food and water and kept it safe until it was dark enough for it to make it's escape. I hope it got back to it's home... Anyway, during the day i came across some interesting artwork on the back of the convenience store near me and as i like to do... photographed it.

Shoots for Brag & Crazy Penis

Had a busy line-up for Brag last saturday. Manning bar @ Sydney Uni for the Boys of Summer Tour, then Lansdowne for some (lame) rock band, DNBBQ @ Abercrombie hotel, and finally Liquid Buzz at Agincourt Hotel.

After all those i headed up to The Cross to check out Crazy Penis in action. Awesome gig...

Unfortunately was pretty tired, so didn't get to hang around for the Electric Press set. But on my way home i ran into some friends who dragged me out till morning. Which was good cause it was the last time i got to see the cute Austrian girls. Yes those are pics of a Crazy Rocker on a Cannon and a Punk with a (live) pigeon...

Hospital breakout

Friday night Katwalk was nice and packed so i was able to get some funky pics.

After leaving Eq, i wound up wandering through the city taking photo's and hooking up with Timmy for a drink... Tim had spent the last 5 days in Hospital with drips attached (his eye lid had almost exploded from blocked tear ducts). So he told the nurse he was going for a ciggie, then bolted to meet me and we walked around for a little while before the nurse called him, sounding kinda pissed off.

I dropped by Kings Cross afterwards, but not alot was happening so i went back home.

Still Busy... Someone give me a break

Tuesday was my dad's 50th birthday so i had to go over to Rozelle for dinner. Went to some semi-fancy restaurant and had a pretty tasty 'lamb with red wine jus'.

Wednesday i went up to KingsX to meet up with some friends and wound up wandering around taking some random photo's.

Thursday i was heading up to Candy's Apartment for the launch of new rock night 'Groupie', but when i got there they were closing up... So i dropped by Sam & Barbs place before going over to meet up with friends at the Judgement bar on Oxford St... Before heading back to one of the girl's apartments for more drinks (before going home around 7am).
